How introductions work
Sources: county parcels, SEC filings, company sites. The owner is not obliged to reply. Retrofit Atlas is a research database, not a brokerage: we represent neither side and take no fee on any transaction. A person (Hadi Irvani) reviews each outbound note before it goes. We write only to an owner of record or a strongly matched filer, never to a special servicer about an asset sale. Your request is confidential: it is not published, sold, or used for any purpose other than the introduction, and we delete it on your say-so. Retrofit Atlas is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Retrofitting Suburbia authors.
What early access will include
- Downloadable dossiers per site (PDF) with every layer, source and quote.
- Lead lists with the owner of record where the county publishes it (business names only, subject to each county's terms), refreshed on every build.
- The JSON API with higher limits and a changes feed for your own agents.
- State fact sheets and a top-50 list of the largest closed sites.
No prices are published until the licence is agreed with the authors. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell.
