Retrofit Atlas

Pricing

Planned tiers, published so nobody is surprised later. Nothing is for sale today. The Atlas is in its academic phase: no paid tiers and no advertising until the authors agree, as the footer of every page says. Prices below are the plan of record (business plan v2, 20 Oct 2026) and may change before launch.

What stays free

Reading, searching, citing, the map, the keyless API and MCP server, the record downloads and the Markdown twins. The parts that cost money to produce (owner lookups, dossiers, bulk exports, listings) are the paid parts, later. Contribute or support the project meanwhile.

When this changes

Only after a signed agreement with Ellen Dunham-Jones and June Williamson, with the royalty terms they accept, and with notice in the changelog and on this page. Licence by source: /licence/.
