Privacy
What this site collects, why, and how to say no. Retrofit Atlas is a research site with no paid tiers in its academic phase; the only account is an optional passwordless API key (magic link by email: we keep the email, a key hash, tier and usage counts; delete it from /api/v1/me).

Visitors whose device time zone is in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, or unknown, see a choice bar first and nothing loads until they allow it. Browsers that send Global Privacy Control are treated as declined.
Forms and email
The correction and early-access forms open your own email program (mailto) addressed to desk@retrofitatlas.org; nothing is stored on this site. What you send is kept in that mailbox to answer you and, with your permission, to credit a contribution on a record page.
Server logs
Pages, files and the API are served by Amazon CloudFront and AWS Lambda, which keep standard access logs (IP address, user agent, URL, time) for operations and abuse prevention. No profile is built from them.
People named in the database
Owners of record come from county assessors and public filings and are shown only when they are companies, trusts or public bodies; natural persons are withheld. To correct or remove a name, use the form or write to desk@retrofitatlas.org; answered within five working days.
Advertising
None in the academic phase. If that changes, this page and the footer will say so first, and any ad network will sit behind the same choice bar as the measurement tools.
